Randoms of July 2013

I have a friend who posts every.single.week/day and she inspires me. We had such wonderful times this last year....I mean a beautiful baby girl came to us in January and in 6 days she'll be 1 years old. I can't believe how fast a year can go. Which 1. Means I'm getting old or 2. I'm getting wisdom. Mostly the 1st as I found my first grey hairs last month and probably just wishful thinking on the 2nd.

Anyway, Zaiya and I went home in June, July and August. Well from June 27th - Aug 10th. Dustin was without his girls for 6 weeks. Hopefully we won't have to do that again. Zaiya popped her first teeth in that time and much happened that we wanted are daddy around for.

Highlights of the summer: I got to sit in a tractor again and cut hay and bale hay. Luckily mom was a willing babysitter! Zaiya loves the lake!! My youngest sister got married to an awesome guy we've known for many years! Zaiya did the Mall of America, traveled across the state of MT, played all summer in Ashley Lake, got to take a trip to Seattle to see some favorite people! and on and on and on......

Love this photo of my sisters discussing something important. And it was. in 6 weeks one got married and one moved. And life has changed so much. Sweetly, differently, and leaves us thankful and very much humbled.

Sue's oldest and mine. It's a sweet moment for us 2 mamas who have known each other since our kids were this age.

So this is a story. My mom (left) went to London a looooong :) time ago. And met up with a girl who lived there. (middle) Another girl (right) came from Switzerland and so the 3 of them got a flat together which they named "Crummie" There are many wide and varied stories of these three who have remained friends for over 40 years. (1973-2013) They have spanned 3 countries with their husbands and between them have 11 kids and something like 12 grandkids thus far.We don't get together often enough, but when we do, it's filled with fun, love, and a friendship that is now generational.

The photo below is a random moment my sister caught of the three of them in their respective state of minds. :) It is too funny for words!!

This is the three of them looking at the photo above!

And the three of them going through photo albums of their time in London and points beyond.

A photo of the three in the order of the photo in the album.

We would LOVE that!! And it is in the cards- it's just that "when" continues to be the problem :) Dustin has never been to Canada either... it will happen. Such a wonderful time seeing your parents this summer. What a bonus!!
