Cousins are so fun!

Love this family!!
Had so much fun with the Young's as we travelled across the state. Zaiya hadn't met these cousins yet and was a wonderful break from driving. Danica and I grew up across the meadow from each other. Was so darling to see the kids just want to touch or hold the baby.
Can't believe how much the kids have changed. I haven't seen them in a year and it startles me to see little glimpses of young men and women in them but oh so glad they still race, quiz, and argue.
Zaiya ate it up. Loved having all that attention and action!
As we left their place (just gorgeous!) I looked to the left and saw 50 some combines lined up headed west on railcars! That's not something you see too often and they are the right color. John Deere green!

4 Months Old

Time goes so fast. I know everyone says it. I don't think you realize it unless you have one of your own kids. I never knew life could fly by so quickly! It's been an awesome 4 months. I've noticed her change a lot in the last week as far as her personality developing more and her mobility/coordination. It is fascinating to watch her learn. It's bittersweet in some ways. Even though I would love to have her sitting and crawling to grab her own toys that she tosses to the side, I will probably cry when she does.

There are just a few shots when I got her dressed on her birthday. :)

Check out those biceps eh?!

My little kitchen helper.

Everyday life

Grandpa Frosty came to visit for an hour. He was picking up paperwork to head North and baby cuddled in. He also got a new work pickup so daddy and baby went to check it out. I love her expression! She's sitting on the briefcase not at all impressed like, "Why me?"

I had some honey do projects.
Well.
Let's not lie. I have a LOT of them. But this one was of top priority.
The poor wheelbarrow underwent some hard times by getting nicked by the loader last fall. It was slight but it bent and broke so Dustin had to redo the handles and straighten the whole mess. The weather was so beautiful, I put Zaiya outside to oversee the whole project and keep dad motivated!

She was pretty intent watching him. And keeping track of his tape measure! It was a beautiful evening and a quick fix. I was very glad to have a wheelbarrow back in working condition.

Just some ordinary days! They're sure sweet with a little mini helping out :)
